Our Story Begins

We are not your average wolves. Back when beasts ruled, there was a small group of wolves with an unusual affiliation with the main elements- fire, wind, earth, water. Of course they could not control them, for the elements can not be tamed, but one element was in a certain wolf's favor from their birth. At first there was just four of these specially chosen wolves. But as time went on, these wolves had offspring, and their children had children. The elements favored those who had the orginal wolves' blood in their veins, but very rarely one who was not related would be chosen. Wolves of different elements either loved or hated eachother. Naturally fire and water did not get along through time, and earth and wind. Soon the fighting got worse and worse, and eventually a war to rival all others broke out. Air sided with fire and earth sided with water. After a long, bloody war, there was only a few wolves for each element. They agreed to stop all fighting for the sake of their kind, and ever since there has been peace in the lands.

But how long can polar opposites get along?
