White snout plunged back into the carcass at the large brutes paws. His front legs had blood on them as well as some on his chest. So far it had been a good day for this white male. He was wandering through the thick jungle when he had come upon a snarling feline. It had been a short battle however, being twice the creatures size and weight. He did receive a few cuts, but it wasn't anything too serious to cause any real damage. Now the feline lay dead at his feet, his fangs sinking into the skin and yanking it from the body. More meat was now exposed as the brute licked his chops clean of the dripping blood. Normally he preferred deer, but he wasn't about to pass up a free meal. After all he wasn't quite sure what kind of other animals were in this jungle. He might not come across a deer anywhere around here. His auds pricked atop his head and he lifted his muzzled, bright green eyes peering around carefully. After not hearing or seeing anything he lowered his head back down and began to tear into the carcass again.
The brute's muscles bunched and he stepped away from the carcass, licking his chops. He had finally eaten his full and now it was time to relax. He stretched his limbs and then sat back on his paws. Glancing down he noticed all the blood covering his radiant markings and frowned. That would certainly not do at all. He lowered his head and began to clean the blood from his legs. His tail tapped lightly against the ground as he groomed himself happily. Once the blood was gone from his legs he grinned, admiring his orange markings. They matched his mother's perfectly and he was proud of that. He stood up and shook out his fur, making it fluff more. His muzzle parted as a long yawn escaped his throat, showing off his blood stained fangs. He clamped his jaw shut and then plopped onto the ground, relaxing. His muscles relaxed and he rolled onto his side, stretching out his long limbs. For winter it was a rather nice day out, though the thick jungle made it hard for the snow and cold air to get in. The perfect place to relax.

The sounds, Smells and moisture of the jungle made Terrasa wish for food and now as she trod on, the most appetizing scent of fresh open blood met her nares. She inhaled the scent and her orbs grew wide with longing. But stay, she scented another, possibly the kills' reaper, but possibly another wanderer like herself. Either way she didn't like to find out personally. But the smell was pulsing through her nostrils. As if to press the issue her stomach rippled and grumbled underneath the earthy coloured pelt that covered her sleek muscular bodice.
" i know i know" she muttered in answer to the sound and paused one more moment before setting off to the carcass. She allowed her body to blend within the colours of the jungle and her auds and orbs swivelled greatly upon her crania and she slowed her pace. She was closer now and could almost taste the sweet meat and blood. Mouth salivating in anticipation sh pressed on silently.
Coming up on the kill she felt her heart beat faster. the scent filling her and her hunger taking over Terrasa she lunged forward growling, ripping in the meat with her fangs she tore from the body and ate with such happiness she almost forgot her surrroundings.

His auds pricked atop his head as he heard the sound of paws not far off. His bright green eyes wandered around very slowly, searching for the one moving closer. He rolled onto his stomach and his muscles tensed now. His nostrils flared and he sniffed at the air, trying to get a scent. The thick jungle made it hard to find any particular scents. It was all mingled and mixed together, but he found it. The scent of a female wolf. A sly smile spread over his lips as he wondered where she was. His muscles relaxed and he pushed himself into a sitting position. His tail curled around his paws as he sat tall, eyes searching the jungle once more. He planned on waiting patiently to see if she would come out near him. Then he heard a voice and his head tilted to the side, wondering if the female had a companion. His auds pinned back against his head as a green female shot out of the vines.
His lips pulled back over his fangs and he stood, fur bristling as she ate his kill. "Excuse me" he hissed. He normally wouldn't mind sharing, but she had simply decided to help herself to his food. He lowered his head and a growl rumbled up his throat as he stood tall before her. His claws dug into the earth beneath him and his lips stayed pulled over his fangs. "Who the hell do you think you are coming here and eating from MY kill?" he snapped. His tail thrashed behind him and his green orbs narrowed on the green female.

Orbs widening and jaws stopping their bite Terrasa'a crania snapped up. She heard the voice and her orbs settled on the frame. She stepped back and looked at the brute. Taking in his size quickly she lowered her frame to the ground in submission. His growl, it was the first wolven song she'd heard in many a moon and she was thrown. She gaped and then found her own voice. With the faintest trace of fesar her voice was strong. " i apologise, but m'lord there was the claimant scent, no sound of a private kill and although i have wronged you and i am sorry, i needed to eat." she said slowly once or twice meeting his orbs with her own.

Hot, sticky and soaked. Not exactly what he had planned on when he woke up this morning. His fur never gave him any leeway. In the summer he was hotter then a desert and in the winter, he was still hot. Leaping through the snow wasn't helping his body temperature either. When the snow is higher than you are, a little leaping is involved, which in turn, works up a sweat and for a pup with unnaturally fluffy fur, it's not a good thing. Tongue lolling out the side of his mouth, he plopped himself down into the snow, belly first. Instantly, he seemed to meld into the snow, his white fur keeping him completely discrete. The only thing that gave him away was the pink tongue hanging from his jaws and the dark blue markings on his face.
They were the only markings on his entire body. Since birth that had been there. His parents had been completely normal wolves with no odd markings which brought him to the conclusion that he was either adopted or his father was not his father. Either way, he would never find out. He was only wandering because his parents had been killed. He had no other reason besides to find a new home and someone to take care of him. It had been a long journey, begging for a scrap of meat and somewhere to sleep. Not a lot of packs wanted to take in a small pup who was not their kin. To them, it was too much hassle and work. So he tried to keep to himself as he traveled, hoping someday he'd find the right place.
He set his head down in the snow and sighed. The coolness of the snow and the wetness of his belly was quickly cooling him off and at the same time, putting him to sleep. He was tired. He had traveled all night and only allowed himself a few hours nap before heading off. He hadn't liked the territory he was in and wanted to get out of it quickly. This place was just as bad. He didn't like the scents nor the surroundings. The quicker he got out of here, the happier he would be.
He lifted his head abruptly as the smell of warm fresh meat washed over him. For a puppy, the common sense that grown wolves have, would not be completely perfect. Any thoughts of other wolves or dangerous creatures was nowhere to be found in his head. Instead, all he could think about was food. He hadn't had a decent meal for awhile, picking scraps as he went. All he wanted to do was sink his teeth into fresh meat and remember what it was like.
He lifted himself up on his large puppy paws and went leaping through the thick snow once more in the direction it came from. His little tail was wagging and his tongue was hanging out to the side. Who wouldn't let this ball of fluffy cuteness eat? He came to the spot where the meat smell came from and he froze. There were two other wolves there and the one didn't sound at all friendly. He whined and hid behind some large leaves, his tail tucked. He supposed this would be another begging mission to at least get a few bites. Such was the life of little Fable.

He began to feel bad for snapping at the small female, looking at her small figure. His auds slanted back and his fur lay flat against his body. Lips falling back over his fangs and covering them once more. He sat back on his haunches and let out a small sigh as she spoke. "I'm sorry I was harsh. It's just that it is quite rude to help yourself to someone else's kill" he explained to her. His tail curled back around his paws as he sat tall, green orbs focused on the female. He gave her a soft smile and nodded his head to her. "Please, eat" he said to her in a soft tone. His muscles were relaxed again as he watched her with a gentle look in his eyes. He had never been cruel to females, but being a loner he had to defend his kill. However, once she had apologized he was more then willing to give it to her. After all he had already eaten, and even if he hadn't she looked like she could really use some food.
His auds twitched and he turned his head, green orbs glancing around slowly. He had heard something, the sound of snow crunching and being disturbed. His eyes narrowed as he tried his best to find where the sound had come from. A small sigh escaped his lips and he turned his head, giving up. It was probably just a rabbit or something, he told himself with a shake of his head. His front legs slid out from under him and he lay on the ground, crossing his large paws. If there was anything out there he was sure it most likely wasn't a threat. His auds slanted back on his head and his tail curled around his side. His jaws parted and he yawned, his large fangs showing off. He clamped his jaws back together and then turned his gaze back on the female. "So, what is your name?" he asked her. If he was going to share his kill and his resting place he would get to know her a little bit.

Terrasa noticed him relaxing and her auds perked at his words. smiling lightly she dipped her maw in a small bow. She let her fur ruffle with a small breeze that floated past her slipping u p her spine she gave only a tiny notion that it had created an hsiver through her. She shook and then let her hind limbs slide into a seated position once again. Scenting the air she noticed something mingled with the almost overpowering scent of meat and blood. Unsure whether this brute had a companion she ignored it with a flicker of her auds. Leaning down she ripped a small piece of the carcass again and savoured the the taste and texture this time instead of gulping it. She chewed, swallowed and answered the brutes Question.
" i hail as Terrasa EarthKore." she spoke. Her voice soft, clear and proud. Melodic and pretty she sounded happy within the company of the male. She didn't yet trust him but trust had to be earned and given first. "what would yours be?" she enquired taking yet another bite and allowing it to fill her senses as she awaited a reaction. She shifted her weight to gain a more confortable position. Her tassel beat the ground almost unaudibly as she enjoyed the kill and the company...Well so far!

His interest was perked, however, when the male's vicious attitude dissolved towards the female and he allowed her to eat. This was strange. Most wolves he had encountered wanted nothing to do with strangers near their kill. Could it be possible for him to get a bite to eat? Of course, there was always the possibility that this male only stopped snarling at the female because he liked her. If a pup where to meander up towards him, however, he may act a little differently. It was hard to be sure without actually knowing the male.
He whined and pulled his ears back. This was quite the dilemma. His belly complained once more and with his mind made up, he escaped his hiding place, belly flat to the ground and approached the male, his tail tucked and ears back. He quickly showed him his belly, his tail wagging pitifully. Please, sir. May I have a bite to eat? I haven't eaten in awhile. his voice was low and soft, not the usual high pitch of growing puppy. His bright sapphire eyes were pleading and terrified. If this male decided to attack him, he was crow food.

He watched as the female began to eat again, this time chewing the meat slowly and savoring it. Terrasa Earthkore? It was certainly an interesting name, he had never met a wolf with two names before. His tail tapped gently against the ground as she heard the pride in her voice. A small smile spread over his lips as he watched her and tilted his head to the side. "I am Caedus" he said with a soft tone. His brow raised as he watched her shift her position, making herself more comfortable. He was glad that she was comfortable in his presence and was able to relax. He shook his head and then pricked his ears as he heard noise again, this time it sounded almost like a faint whine. His gaze turned to the female, seeing that she hadn't made the sound.
His head turned and narrowed, seeing something moving towards them. It almost looked like the snow was moving, but there were two tiny eyes and blue markings visible now. He lifted his head and tilted it to the side as his green gaze fell upon a tiny white ball of fluff. A pup. Alone. Where were the parents? He watched as the pup rolled onto his back and showed his belly, tail wagging. His eyes were soft and he gaze a friendly smile to the pup, his auds twitching atop his head. The pups voice was very low, but he was able to understand what he had said. He lowered his head and nuzzled the pups belly playfully, then licked the belly. "Eat as much as you can little one" he told him with a warm smile.
He had always had a soft spot for pups and females, and it was his luck to encounter both. His tail wagged softly behind him as he watched the little pup with his bright green eyes. His gaze turned to the female, eyeing her cautiously. He knew that some females would take pups in, but there were others that would attack pups who weren't their own. If she dared to threaten the pup he would certainly defend it, taking the side of an innocent pup over a female any day. His gaze held a warning in it as he locked eyes with Terrasa before turning them back on the pup. "What is your name my young little Sir?" he asked with a warm smile on his face. He would wait to ask about the pups family until he had finished eating and they could talk.

Terasa sm iled and nodded to the brute as he named himself. ' Caedus? ' she thought 'it's a strong name' she smiled and allowed her teeth to show in friendly manner. Feeling more comfortablke she was about to ask more when a whine and more interestingly a grumble of obvious hunger arrived upon her auds. She looked around and spotted a small bundle of white creeping slowly and obviously cautiously towards Caedus. 'A pup?' she enquired in her own mind, standing now she looked off into the undergrowth as if awaiting more to join them.
Upon hearing the little one's words she stopped looking. 'a pup wouldn't answer or speak so bluntly with parents around.' she decided and sat back her stance frienly and with not a thought of harming this fluffy ball of whelp. She looked to Caedus and caught his look, replying his with one of her own concern showing for so young a pup should not be alone. She felt sorry for the young one and stood to pad over to the kill. ripping a large and juicy piece of meat off of the bones she placed in front of the pup and gave him a gentle nudge. " no harm will befall you here, We won't allow it young one" looking up at Caedus Terrasa felt a small twinge of caring for the pup. She didn't know what to d however as she had never mothered or felt the pull to care for one before. " and i have a good feeling lord Caedus will be as protective as i will." she laughed softly.

OOC: WOW. I just re-read my post and realized it sounded like Oliver Twist "Please, sir, Can I have some more?" XD
Such hospitality! It was like he hit the jackpot! Quicker than a rabbit, he had turned over onto his belly, his tail pumping hard. He quickly asserted his submission by licking the male's muzzle, whines escaping him. He was so overjoyed that he hadn't been chase off that he hardly noticed the pain in his stomach from hunger until the female brought him a hunk of meat. Forgetting his manners, he dove into it, almost inhaling each piece with fevered hunger. Only after he had finished his tiny share, his stomach bloated, did he sit back and wag his tail, a goofy grin of contentment on his face.
My name is Fable. he told them, his deep blue eyes shining. I'm sorry about my manners. he frowned and looked at the ground. It's not often I meet nice wolves. Usually I'm chased off or threatened. He lifted his head back up and smiled at both of them. Thanks for the food but I should get going. I don't want to intrude anymore than I have. He stood up on his pudgy legs and shook of, his tongue lolling out of his mouth again

OOC: HAHA That's funny!
His bright green eyes sparkled with laughter as he watched the pup roll onto his stomach and saw how fast his tail was wagging. His large tongue rasped over the pup's head as he felt the small licks at his mouth. His own tail wagged softly as he watched the small pup eat the meat. It was obvious that he hadn't eaten for a long while, and he frowned at the thought. If he was starving like this then he certainly didn't have parents anywhere near. His auds slanted back and he shook his head, feeling bad for the lonely pup. He turned his gaze to Terrasa as she gave the pup a chunk of meat and he smiled at her. She obviously was feeling the same towards the pup as he was. He nodded to her comment about protecting the pup and then turned his gaze back on the white ball of fur.
Fable. It was an interesting name, and sounded strong. He sat up and his head tilted to the side as Fable apologized about his manners. He frowned and then stood up, walking over to the pup and nudging him gently. "There's no need for you to go" he said in a soft voice. He plopped onto the ground and rolled onto his back, pawing at the pups very gently. "Why don't you stay with us?" he asked with a smile. He had always enjoyed the company of pups, it gave him an excuse to play games and be act younger then he really was .

She watched him carefully as he scoffed the meat, allowing her lithe limbs to slide under her in a flopping motion toward the gorund below her tread. Laying now she watched and listened to the young one's words, his name was fable. He was an orphan now. But what terrasa could't get her mind around was the fact that anyone had chased away this little ball of white fluff! Speaking of hwich his muzzle was looking rather pink now!
Standing, Terrasa moved to the pup once more and licked the meat and blood residue off of his muzzle in a strangely motherly way. Listening to the little one's words of partig she gave an almost whimper. Her tassel drooped ad she looked with concern to caedus before hearing his own words about staying. She nodded smiling and looked to the pup before nudging him and nodding. " stay with us i promise as long as you are with us no harm will EVER come to you Fable" She licked h im again making sure to cover every inch of him before pawing him playfully. " hey i bet you could take on a wimp like Caedus anyday!" she hinted knowing full well Caedus would play happily. Her banner thudded the ground lightly.
