A thinnish figure interrupted the stillness of the lovely spring morning, passing through gaps between trees and crushing all other foliage beneath wide paws. A slight chill remained in the air, but it was comfortable, for the gray and brown pelt had not shed its winter down as of yet. Afternoon sun burned orange in the sky, just minutes from touching down on the horizon. of course, one could not see it through the thick vegetation of the forest. Overhead, on the other hand, from a small clearing, the knight dubbed Cade glanced skyward. The moon's crescent, just barely beneath a half-moon, was beginning to brighten in the sky. A grim smile tugged his lips taught; today was the sixth anniversary of his birth. Momentum slowed as a large, rugged tree loomed up overhead, the roots beneath forming a jungle of their own with a few small caverns.
The slim male rose to his hind legs, claws pressing into the bark as he scratched, marking territory and reducing the irritating length of those weapons upon his feet. After joints absorbed the blow from landing back on earth, he lifted a paw and licked the bottom experimentally. All this dirt, for days on end... he missed the rugged slate of mountain sides that would keep his claws from growing uncomfortably long. Ears flickered about, hearing a slight trickle of water nearby. Snout pointed toward where the sound was strongest; it seemed to be beneath the tree.
Belly hit the earth as Cade crouched, cloud-hued eyes trying to find the source in the darkness; he was much better adapted to seeing dark than light. A low point at the base of a root, directly beneath the great tree, was dripping steadily into a small puddle. Caution dictated he back out and look around before cornering himself like this, but the water was too appealing after the day's long jog. Figure wormed in to the crevice, tongue able to reach out and lap up the nourishing minerals and fluids. However, no more than a few ounces had been consumed when the tightness of the area caused an irrational fear. he backpedaled, scraping his shoulders and bruising the crown of his head; it was just as well, worse would have happened if he stayed down there. He could detect the faint aroma of something else nearby, though moist earth was dampening it quite well.
With a quick, controlled motion he leapt to the top of a root, standing on its foot-wide surface, three feet higher up from the ground. Cade himself was only an average sized wolf; he could use any advantage he could get to make himself taller. Perhaps the stranger was of the Anatu pack, and a new comrade. He hadn't really met the pack, but was already one of its ranks. Silvery eyes glanced around before him, not knowing exactly where the stranger was, if there even was one. Apart from his alertness, Cade was otherwise relaxed.

Stones to throw at my creator... [/sup] The spring was perfect for the bitch. The cold air sweeping around her limbs, and the warmth of the sun on her back. It was luxurious to say the least. She looked almost normal walking in the dimly lit forest. Her back was cloaked with a snowy ivory. The only thing that made her different was the socks climbing up her legs. Not one was the same size as the other, they were all a pale red color like her limbs were coated in blood. Her eyes almost mad her stand out. One was the fury of a deadly red that glowed in the darkness. The other was the crystal blue that was of a light heart, and made her seem almost normal.
However the female was nothing of the sort. She was not Normal and Secret would tell you straight up she wasn't. Scars covered her body hidden by the white hues of her fur, showing her attempts of death. Secret found herself unworthy to live amongst the world with those who had better skill than herself. She would never admit to anyone being better than herself though. Her ears flickered in annoyance at the chirp of a bird on the ground up ahead. It's feathers were a dark brown and it had a honey colored stomach, along with a short bill. It didn't notice Secret's silhouette approaching so Secret figured to not let it notice. She crouched down her stomach inches from scrapping against the surface of the earth. She approached with slow steps in order to stay quiet. She was feet from the bird before launching her feet forward. The bird had no time to escape before Secret broke it's poor little neck in two.
She knocked the bird to the side, she just killed it for the joy of the kill, she wouldn't stoop to eating something so foul. She brought herself forward once again her paws thudding against the earths surface. Secret walked from within the bushes an unnatural shadow falling over her bi colored eyes. She looked up to a male that was standing on a root looking down at her. "What the fuck are you doing up there?" She snarled in annoyance. She stepped out of the underbrush letting the hairs on the back of her neck stand threateningly.
She lowered her rump to the ground wrapping her tail around her back legs, she looked up at the shadowy figure. He was in the shadow of the large tree so Secret could not make out his looks. "Damn it! She yelled, the sun hurting her eyes, "Get down from there! she growled almost furious blaming the bastard for the fact that her eyes now hurt.

Alarm caused the fur along the knight's silvery brown spine to rise, though it was clear by the expression he displayed that the response was far from threatening. A large white blur had taken shape before him, emerging into the sunlight. Though he could see fairly well from the shade, he couldn't make out her features. Was she a friendly creature? Aroma spoke of female, and wolf; ears soon gave the answer to his pondering as she snapped harshly to him.
Maw hung agape as he stared blindly down to the sheer white lass, pondering a reply. He settled on explaining himself, but before a word could be said the sheila ordered him down. Cade blinked and leapt down to earth, remaining in the shade, but level with this creature he still could not see. The light glinting from her fur was far too bright and would have wounded his eyes if he focused directly to her; instead he looked to the ground before her feet, able to decipher dark claws.
Whoever this was, she seemed to be quite agitated. He had obeyed to lessen the chance she would attack; surely no superior wolf would wound an obedient follower. The hunter detected a shade of superiority in her tone and for a moment wondered if she was an alpha, but her brusque manner denied that idea. He blinked thrice, and slowly her darker points swam into focus; the black-lined lips, the slightly reflective charcoal nose, rims of the eyes where skin shone through thin fur.
Name's Cade. He spoke evenly, doing his best to appease her temper and offer a paw in friendship. Not literally, of course. He'd learned a while ago that sticking one's paw out where you couldn't see was quite a bad idea. Tail gave a wave, lifted high but not in dominance; simply because it was easier to see when it curled over his back, and he wanted to express welcome and delight clearly.

Secret was an easy wolf to agitate to say the least. The wind tangled through her white furs, making them stand straight, making it look as if she were ready to attack. The brute jumped from his perch against the root, she could finally make out the colors of the bastard. His cloak was rustic, most likely a gray wolf with his coloring and his coat was thin as if it had been pulled from his skin. His muscles didn't impress her lending little shape to his frame, if you ask Secret she had more intimidating muscles than this character. She stood slightly taller than he did, only because she was a large wolf for her arctic breed. There were patches of the darkest blue around his ears and eyes, his eyes were just a cloud color.
Even Secret was self loathing but she found herself looking much better than this poor wolf. Her red and blue eyes scrutinized his figure. Her limbs dipped in a pale blood made her stand tall and her muscles were tense with a fury. It was odd for an Arctic wolf to hold the element of fire. Heat rose up around her and the other wolf as her anger rose and rose. The other wolf called himself Cade. It was a weak name fit for a weak wolf. His tail seemed to sway as if he were a little house pet happy to see their human come home. She growled, "What are you so happy about?" She spit at him.
She rolled her eyes, sitting back on her haunches. The wolf didn't show signs of trying to attack, but it wasn't as if her muscles weren't prepared just in case. "Secret" She snarled simply. She couldn't understand why this canine would need to know her name, her name was nothing special. Then again this stupid wolf didn't deserve to know her name. If he didn't bring to her the death she wouldn't, she would bring death to the bastard.
